So I’m on’s website searching for archival materials on “airships” as subject matter for my thesis exhibition and final project when it hits me. This really IS incredibly boring—to comb through endless search results looking for the good stuff. Who wants to stare at a spreadsheet or list of search results all day long? Days actually.


It is fast, moderately efficient, but not meaningful and limited in interaction. Input…output. That’s it. Sure it only took .0006 seconds to find what I asked it to, but why can’t it find me culturally related materials as well. The best of the best. That is what I want in this case.
